Building a "Polyvagal Aware " workforce means becoming trauma-informed & beyond.

By implementing "trauma-informed and beyond" workplace development programmes - managers can ensure that employees have access to training and resources necessary for creating an environment that nurtures safety and connection. This enables them to continuously upgrade their skill set and prevent career burnout. Offering wellbeing programmes providing support for professional & personal development allows employers to demonstrate their commitment to the long-term welfare of their employees.

Workplace development and wellbeing are incredibly important in the modern workplace. With an increasing focus on employee engagement, organisations that prioritise these issues stand to benefit in a variety of ways. Not only will they be able to attract and retain quality talent, but they can also improve employee morale and satisfaction, as well as increase productivity.

By investing in workplace development and wellbeing initiatives employers create an environment that is conducive to connection, creativity and innovation.

The positive effect of these initiatives on employee motivation cannot be overestimated; when employees feel supported by their employer they are more likely to put forth effort in order to meet both short-term objectives as well as long-term goals.

Additionally, developing individualised plans tailored to each employee’s needs further fosters a sense of belonging among staff members which leads to a greater level of job satisfaction.
